I'm planning on purchasing one or two cumberland sliders and would like as much information as possible on them.
Are they known to fight?
Lifespan?
Reccomendation on tank etc?
Please help by providing any information.

I have tried many websites, but the RES seem much more common than the cumberlands. Any information i do find on them is contradicting with other websites.

Cumberland care is almost identical to Red-Ear, so a good RES site will help. The problem is in identifying a good RES site.

Try http://www.austinsturtlepage.com (my fave killer turtle site) or http://ww.redearslider.com

No two sites will ever agree in details, but look for the experience, research, and science behind the answers, not just what some keeper did that kept their turtle alive for a year.

I have never heard of such a spider before.

Try emailing the guy who works on

he seems to know alot about spiders and bugs.

I looked around and could only fins one care sheet on them. Try asking the person that you're getting them from what you would need and all that stuff.
