The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.
I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.
Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can. Here are some book titles that are relevant:
* How to Really Start Your Own Business, Fourth Edition by David E. Gumpert
* How to Really Create a Successful Business Plan: Step-by-Step Guide by David E. Gumpert
* What No One Ever Tells You about Starting Your Own Business: Real-Life Start-Up Advice from 101 Successful Entrepreneurs (What No One Ever Tells You About Starting Your Own Business) by Jan Norman
* Business Start-Up Kit by Steven D. Strauss
* Start Your Own Business (Entrepreneur Magazine's Start Up) by Rieva Lesonsky
There are plenty of free informational resources out there. Check the source box for links to articles.

Creating a business plan, for sure. Not just something you spend a few days working on, it has to be something you research and put a considerable amount of time into. The more detailed it is the better. You can look for financing (capital) but you won't get any if you don't have a business plan to show your potential investor / bank. You can look for a place to do business but if you have no operations plan, how will you really understand what you need? You can figure out what you want to sell and to whom but what will be your plan to get your product or service to your target market? A fresh idea is the start to your business plan, research your target market and your competition, but never forget that if you fail to plan you plan to fail!

It is all in you.. First know what you want then find out what the others want or looking for. Look around what others are saying and doing. Never give up on your goals and stick with it. There are a few free places to get started and work yourself up. Open what you feel good at and like. If you do not like it you will not do good at it. Stay on top of things what you want is a head start ask and seek you will find. In other words search and look for leads. ask for leads . I do have a few free sites to help you get started. just e-mail me. Hang in there for what you want and think I WILL NOT STOP AT WHAT I WANT. Be kind to all and treat people well and you will go far.
