Between 2000 & 3000 that you can see naked on a particularly clear and dark winter night, over the course of the evening. (Not counting globular nebulas or light smudges representing other galaxies).

There are roughly 200 billion stars in our galaxy, and 100 billion galaxies in our universe. The product of these two numbers will give you a decent approximation for the number of stars in our universe.

Put down any number or calculation you please, it is an unanswerable question. Even if there was a way to see all the stars at once, all the stars in the universe still would take all of eternity too count. Besides, since I believe the universe is endless in any and all directions, all the stars could never be viewed anyway.

If you are refering to naked eye stars the approximate count is 11,000 stars. if you are refereing to a total count of stars, that would be an impossibility for some of the stars cannot be seen even with the most powerful ground based telescopes, or space based telescopes, such as Hubble.

Total number of stars is infinite according to latest cosmological thinking. Total you can see is more a function of air and light polution than anything else.

Our galaxy has about 100 billion.
There are about 100 billion galaxies (approximately).
There may be billions more we can't see or even theorize.
Since space is unlimited, the number may also be unlimited.
But on earth, we can only see about 6000 total around the world.
