It's funny since there was a guy on here not long ago that made the comment that men only need women for their vaginas, but I'm sure he supports Smart Alex's question.

I don't own a high horse.

I love a woman and am happily married to her. Were I widowed, though, I probably would not remarry.

I "need" her in the sense that I wouldn't want to do without her but certainly could survive. Not as well, but I would not die.

Of course we need women. What a silly question. Do you honestly think as much effort as we guys put into attracting women, even if some see it as for shallow purposes, that men don't need women? Wow, a gay or alone existence, how crappy would that be?
What you may not realize is that men act like that, like we don't need women, because it's easier to deal with than constant rejection or not feeling adequate for the ones to which we are very attracted.

I don't hear you saying, "of course women need men" on here, "now answer don't you need women?" Do you see now...? Saying "it's a two way street" is not the same as one needing other... traffic can flow more in one direction than the other.

Well most men would desire a women as a lover/confidant/wife same as how a women would desire a man as a lover/confidant/husband. That plus, we BOTH need each other to continue populating the planet.

Yes it is a two-way street. Most of the women there say they don't need men, so why would it be unfair for a man to say the same thing? Funny thing is, when someone ask a question like this and I mention it's a two way street I get bashed by everyone.

As the inspiration for this question I'd like to have a say.

Of course men need women. WHEN exactly did I say that men don't need women?

Why on EARTH do you ASSUME that I would not say so? My whole argument if you read the entire thing, including comments is that it's prideful to say that you don't need anyone.

So thank you very much for supporting my original question. Would you now post an answer on mine that shows that you DO support it?

When I find a man who's NEEDS are the same as mine? Then I will say that a Man needs a Woman and/or a Woman needs a Man. Right now i'll settle for WANTS just to satisfy my needs. "I want you, but I don't need you." And THAT's a two way street too...LOL.

Need a woman, no way! Want a woman for sex only, maybe. why do women wear makeup and purfum? They smell and are ugly. Masturbation covers they only reason why I would ever even talk to a life support system for a vagina. Prostitues are cheaper in the long run and better looking.

Yes, women are needed for having kids, but thats about it. (and the sex stuff) Women arent really "needed" but life is much better if you can find a nice one.

I have been to war and that women are stronger than men crap is total bs. Some women are very strong, but 90% can not deal with real hardship in any way close to what men can.

I have admitted since my daughter was born while I (and her mother) was still in high school that women are stronger than men. I admire my daughter's mother very much because of the struggle only SHE had to go through despite both of us "being pregnant."

It has been my experience that women are more ambitious and stronger willed than men, which comes in handy now and then.

Sure..... you are right. Of course you are right. The qualities of a man complements that of a woman and vice versa.
It would be foolish to say that either sex needs the opposing sex more.
For those who say that men need women more than women need men, the last time i checked, Bill gates isnt the richest man in the world because of his wife.
And bachelors actually have a whole LOT more fun than unmarried women. ; ) Face it. Admit it. LOL.
