Hi, I am a DIY because of divorce and lack of money, so I bought an elec chain saw and took down most of my 2 huge tress out front. I think to have them put thru a chipper would be best but do I rent or ?? I need some realistic suggestions, if you want to be funny, I can always use a little clean fun.

My husband & I rented a chipper from Home Dept two years ago - we had many limbs & a tree that we took down. It wasn't very expensive - we did what we need to do in 4 hours I think, and it was about $60. The size we rented could chip a branch about 4 inches around. I suggest due to safety issues you ask a buddy to help. Those suckers are heavy, too.

You can rent those big chippers the tree services use, but they're pretty expensive, a couple of hundred bucks a day. It might be just as cheap to have a tree service come and grind them up now that you've done the hard part.
