I think we all have a certain sort of mystery to us and we'll never fully know everything about each other. You can't completely open yourself to the world. Your inner most thoughts are yours alone and some of them should stay that way.

I agree but I am constantly being referred to as "mysterious." I think that especially in today's society that there are just too many people gunning for other ppl's attention and a little mystery now and then is so much better than overexposure. I mean just look at the celebrities in the magazines.

It's true that there are somethings best kept to oneself, things that we don't share with anyone but close friends, if anything, but I think - I heard somewhere a quote about how everyone likes to think they're so much more mysterious than they really are. I think that's true. There are things that others don't know about us, but no more than anyone else, you know? Anyway, along those lines, I do sometimes think of myself as mysterious...not so much these days, but every once in a while I feel like "I know something you don't know", when it's no big deal - nothing special. People have a tendency to make a bigger deal out of things than is necessary, myself included.

I think I'm very mysterious. I agree with what you're saying. Some of your thoughts should just stay with you and other people shouldn't know about them.

I wouldn't say "mysterious". There is just a certain depth that I don't really try to share, because other people wouldn't get it. Just like I don't "get" the depths of other people. Our souls are unique . We can share some of it, but the rest is uniquely our own.

Every person cannot be 100% transparent. In child hood days in school , we do not inform the parents about low marks in a subject, we cannot talk about our teen age problems with family members, you cannot tell your better half about your premarital love, you cannot tell your children about your affair with their mother ---. Yes , Little bit of mystery surrounds every human being !!!!!!

yes i do, i always get ppl coming up to me saying things like "wow...youre quiet, youre mysterious" and i take these as compliments, and i guess they think ill open up after that, lol and i remain the same til this day=) thats the fun part, not having your business all out, ppl would have to really get to know u/me to find out anything, and thats what i like doing=)
