First and foremost... you do what YOU like with YOUR body. If you don't want chest hair, get rid of it. I recommend waxing over shaving because it lasts longer and when the hair starts growing back it feels softer than shaving it (shaving makes the hair 'sharp'.) Waxing is kinda painful at first but you get use to it. Plus, shaving seems to increase the risk of infected hair follicles (for me, anyway) which looks yucky (red bumps.)
If you're concerned about what someone else will think of it, the right girl for you won't care... she'll like you for who you are and not your chest hair, or lack thereof. Likewise, if you fall in love with that special gal, you may find that you won't mind letting it grow back if that turns her on. Love can make ya do anything.

Chest hair is a sign that you are mature. Men have chest hair. Boys do not. You will look like a little boy if you shave it all off. Women are not attracted to boys. They are attracted to men. Back hair is an exception. There are very few women that think a back covered with a thick layer of hair is sexy. Fortunately, most men don't have that much back hair. Some men do shave their backs if they have to be in a public place such as the beach.

Didn't you see the Seinfeld episode where Jerry shaves his chest hair just to please some woman he was dating? It was growing back and was itching all over...
It's not bad to shave the chest hair but the question is can you keep it up? Because once you start, you gotta go on shaving it. So don't shave it in the first place, if you really don't like the hair, opt for waxing (hurts).

All girls have different preferences. A little bit of hair is ok, now if you are growing a sweater or can braid it then you might want to think about removing it. Shaving may cause some slight irritation, ingrown hairs or razor bumps, but it is not harmful. It's no different than shaving your face.

Bad? I dunno. But take into assessment the side effects i.e. Razor burn, in grown hairs, looking like a ten year old. I think you should worry more about back hair, nose hair, and ear hair. These hair situations are unconditionally meant to be removed. Hirstute is in - so go with the hair on your chest and be confident. The twinky, hairless bodies are for - just that - other twinkies. So unless you plan to dance till dawn shirtless at the Manhole gay-mega plex - keep it masculine.

It seems to be a fad that men ARE shaving their chest hair. It's safe, but I, for one like a hairy chest!! I t feels so good to run your fingers thru it! Once you get a girlfriend, or if you have one now, ask! We all have different tastes.

Depends on how thick the hair is.
Chest hair is normal and a sign that you are producing testosterone.
If you don't want chest hair wax it off. Sally Hansen sells a non wax product that you heat in the micro oven and do not need muslin strips to pull off the hair. Do this After a warm bath so the follicles are still open. Do not put it over the nipples.

Bad morally? No, it's your hair, and you can do anything you like with it.
Bad for your skin? Yes, very. And it will itch like a thousand fire ants when it starts to grow out.
Look bad? In my opinion, yes. I perefer a man to keep his natural body hair. Much sexier! And someone who spends all that time shaving just looks like he's too into himself!
