Citric Acid: CAS# 77-92-9
More correctly named: 2-Hydroxy-1,2,3-propane tricarboxylic acid

Here's some data from the Merck Index, 13th Ed.
MW = 192.12 g/mole
melting point = 153°C (anhydrous form),
melting point = ~100°C (monohydrate)
density: 1.665 g/cm³ (anhydrous), 1.542 g/cm³ (monohydrate)

Here's data from the CRC Handbook of Chemistry & Physics:
MW = 192.13 g/mole
melting point = 153°C
boiling point = decomposes before it boils
density = 1.665 g/cm³
very soluble in water & ethanol; soluble in ether; insoluble in benzene

Hope that helps!

Physical properties, it's a liquid i guess? Chemical, it's acidic so it will readily dissociate in water to release h+ ions.
