What hasn't? I try to learn my lessons the first time, so I'm a better person the next time. Been through too much to not be a better person. I credit God.

Yahoo!Answers is the latest change. Since December I have remembered my personality faults from childhood (after having them pointed out as only P&Sers can----short and painfully) and I have quit and left for good exactly 3 times. Yet, here I am because I am tenacious. That is something I never knew about myself. I can also adapt better than I thought I could. I still whine and want too much attention, but I don't pull it on these P&Sers anymore!! (Tough Crowd!) @80) you know what to do..............and then pick a better answer.

I would start off with my ex-b/f , he was like an angel to me, and guided me in the right direction during my wild and young days, then learning from mistakes, taking care of myself better after walking away from drugs for good!
Finally, with a kewl friend, who is a Buddhist, she gave me some very good advice and I followed it very well since 98'...

The fact that everyone in my family has abandon me to be selfish jerks..and I refuse to be like them. I strive to be stronger, more loving and more giving to my friends (who are my family now) and to always put everyone else before myself.

Humble Before God
Scripture:
“Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains…‘for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” – Revelation 6:15-17 NASB
The world considers people to be great or important when they do special things, accumulate wealth or have positions of power. But the Bible tells us that none of these things will mean anything when we stand before God. On that day, no one will be “able to stand” before Him based on individual merit, fame or accomplishment.
Before God, all of our righteousness is nothing but filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). None of us can boast, because “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). We need to recognize that “all of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way.” And we must realise our need for a Saviour, for “the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him” (Isaiah 53:6).
God looks for people who recognise their need for salvation and humble themselves before Him. None of us is good enough or deserves special treatment, for “the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). We are saved by His grace, simply by accepting the finished work of Jesus for us on the Cross.
Today, make sure that you are trusting in the finished work of Jesus, not in your own merit or good deeds. You can stand before God because of Jesus. He shed His blood so you can be cleansed and free. Give Jesus the glory, and praise and worship Him today.
Prayer:
Father, thank You that You’ve forgiven my sins. I humble myself before You. Help me to serve You with my time, talent and treasure. I trust You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
