36 weeks and the baby has dropped. I've been having the most awful pressure lately. The pressure on my pelvic bone hurts so bad, it kinda feels like it stings. I can't move around at night in bed without this pain (that takes my breath away!) And recently I noticed the the pressure on my bladder is causing me to leak urine (just a little bit..but it's annoying and gross!) AND NOW...I have noticed that when I sit to use the bathroom the pressure causes me to need to wipe as if I've had a small BM (not a lot...I can wipe it away in 1 or 2 wipes...)

Anyone else had this?? I can't handle having this for 4 more weeks!

I'm pretty sure I'm not leaking amniotic fluid because it smells like pee...

The needing to wipe like I've had a BM everytime I sit on the toilet is what's really weird. Anyone else had the BM thing??? I feel so gross!

The fact that the baby is pressing on your rectum and causing BM means that the head is likely quite low and engaged in the pelvis...the engagement in the pelvis is likely the cause for all the pressure....see my posting on the "is it too much pain" for tricks to alleviate the pain....I had it too and it is terrible....i'm so sorry for you!

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and the baby has dropped too. The more in position they get it seems to get a hold of our bladder and back pain. The best thing to do is put a pillow between your legs and take some Tylenol Pm to help. Thats what I have been doing, make sure you doctor approves the Tylenol PM though.

Regarding the Urine, your going to go to the bathroom so much is going to upset you. I know Im getting frustrated, but truly all you can do is go use the bathroom as ofter as you can. It's very normal for pregnant women to leak so try the mini pads and good luck.

Def. try the doggy style thing and gently roll in a big wide circle on the palms of your hands and knees. It will take the pressure off for a while. Also, if you have access to a pool, go for a swim. It eases the pressure, too. The BM thing sounds normal to me, remember, the pelvis is VERY close to your rectum, making it feel like you have to have a BM.
Do not try the castor oil thing, it'll just give you the runs.

My sister is 36 weeks to and is having the same issues. She to is in a lot of pain. It helps her to soak in a hot tub it relaxes the muscles in her body. And when your sleeping at night try to put a pillow between your knees it may relieve a little pressure between your legs. And hopefully with any luck you wont be pregnant for 4 more weeks. I'll keep my fingers crossed you go early! good luck.

that may not be urine, that may be your water leaking...you might want to go get checked. you could also try the doggie style position - rock back and forth to get the baby off whatever is causing that pain. Good luck, sounds like you may not have to wait too long now.

nicely as for the urine leaking, i'm hoping you're doing kegels for 10 minutes an afternoon!!! attempt retaining for 2, 10, 30, 60 2d periods. yet once you nonetheless leak, use an constantly long pantiliner to avert embarrassment. as for tp, i'm having the comparable problem and had no thought why!! my toddler hasn't dropped yet yet she feels incredibly enormous. good success

i had this same problem

when you feel you really cant handle it anymore take castor oil to induce labor

and as you are seeing your ob once a week now tell them you cant handle it and they may help labor come a little quicker as your baby is now just growing and completly developed
