I'm 46 and I did not know. He isn't real? Why did you have to tell me a thing like that. He has to be real..........isn't he? Oh wow dude.......... you ruined my life. Chrismas won't be the same.

I was 5. A family friend dressed up like Santa for our church and I recognized him. At first my sisters and I thought that our friend was the real Santa and he just spent time at our church during the "of season". Then we realized that our theory didn't leave any time for Santa to make the toys.

I figured out that one by myself at the age of 5. It was not a tragic disillusionment...I thought the whole thing was fishy from the start.

2nd grade. My teacher told the whole class. I never liked her after that. She will always be the women who stole my childhood. Atleast the part of my childhood where your parents lie and give you extra presents.
