Dave, The American President, Head of State, Man of the Year, and so on. All more or less liberal.

I know this all comes out of Hollywood and blah, blah, blah, but I'm wondering if any mainstream movie has used a conservative to be a hero.

The manchurian candidate (original and the remake). There was another movie with Morgan Freeman playing the president I forgot the name though.

Moses. Any John Wayne movie. MacArthur. Older movies, mostly before the time that Jane Fonda became popular would all be considered conservative by today's standards.

Any action movie except for Surge or Charlie's Angels. Any military movie except for the ones that deal with women or gays in the military. They all manage to push Republican ideology.

Yes. "The Running Man". Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The world had turned totally Socialist (Liberal), and good old Arnie fought his way out of their crap, and the world went back the way it should always be, where people had choices, and freedoms long taken away and forgotten.

If a character has a political affiliation,then that would be propaganda more or less unless it's based on a real person or historical figure.
