I have no idea what the name of the movie is called. The plot is mainly about this man who wants to spend the summer with his son, who lives with his mother who is divorced from the dad. The son is a druggy gothic punk and his dad wants him to be better, and the summer with his dad teaches him to be better. Also, in the mean time his father has cancer on his back.... and he is also trying to build this wonderful house because currently he lives in a garage. I think Courtnee Draper plays in it as the son's girlfriend.The character of the man who builds this house is called... Georgie or something... PLZ Help! Anyone know this movie?

This is the film George Lucas spotted the young canadian actor, Hayden Christensen in and was so taken by his performance, he called to have him audition for the 2nd Anakin for the upcoming Episode 2.
