Is Sylvia Browne really a psychic or is she just another fake?

I think there is some truth to what she says. And to the person who said "how many lotteries has she won" I think that's stupid. She isn't the kind of person to use her abilities to win a lottery. Use your brain a little bit. She hasn't prevented any major disasters, but who can stop a earthquake or a tsunami? She certainly can't. DUH!!!! She helps people if you've seen the show. And she has helped plenty of people she just don't broadcast it to the world every time she helps solve a murder.

she is fake, and full of crap. she goes and predicts all sorts of major things turning out well, then the exact oppisite happens with pretty much the worst possible outcome. my favorite example is when she was on montel one day and this guy in the back row stood up and asked about a girl who had gone missing recently. browne said this woman would be found alive in a mental hospital in miami, but she wouldnt remember what happend. in actuallity the woman was found five weeks later, dead, less than five miles from her house. furthermore, this womans mother had been sitting in the front row of the audience the whole time this show was being taped and this guy was askign his question. why wouldnt sylvia pick up on that?

Remember she told the family of the 11 year old that went missing in Missouri that he was DEAD. He was found with the other young boy that was grabbed. He's now 15. She said this on Montel with the parents in the audience, and his parents were devastated.

Montel William is usually good - but not with his support of her.

ALL psychics are fake. She just seems a bit more fake than most.

All self-proclaimed psychics are fake. Otherwise they would all be picking the winning lottery numbers every week. There is such a thing as being intuitive. But the psychic abilities that most of those phonies claim to possess are a load of baloney.

i'm no longer probable particular. Sylvia seems greater convincing than John to me. i've got self assurance in ghosts and demons by using fact of existence reviews. Sightings, sounds, issues being moved in the previous my eyes, etc. over my lifetime. i'm Catholic and the Church teaches that the ineffective do no longer walk this earth after dying. yet I have not have been given the different explaniation to what i've got witnessed numerous time. comparable with my son. No ghosts isn't doctrine or dogma. so who knows. however the Bible, God's words on my own, say to stay removed from fortune tellers, palm readers, and psychics. that they are evil doers. That it is demons that enable them to work out issues. lower back, i don't be attentive to truly be attentive to what to have self assurance. i think of a few human beings have particular presents. yet whilst God says psychics are evil, i can not consult with them.

Try to analyze it from an empathic situation. Imagine you're a psychic, a real one
Would you reveal it? I mean, that's risky because you can be considered dangerous by many people
Would you use it? If you will use it will you use it for profit? Then you keep it secret and you can exploit yor position. If you use it for helping people then you do it free, for helping or at low cost (for living) and don't do it public. Therefore I think she's a fake, but you have to decide it yourself

She is fake, as are all psychics. They do harm to families who have missing loved ones, by giving them bogus tips....that makes families run about and waste resources that could be better spent in bonafide search parties.

I speak from experience in witnessing the heaps of crying families left after "their experience" with Brown, VanPraugh, Carla Baron, to name just a few.

I thought she was just another crock until a few years ago, I was watching the show right after the New Year; she made several predictions, some of which I actually paid attention to and remembered. One was concerning the war in the Mideast, the other concerned some celebrity couples. All turned out to be correct. A couple of them, she was really specific about, maybe that's why they stuck, but the fact is - she was right. Draw your own conclusion.

ALL alleged psychics and mediums are fake. No 'ifs' no 'buts', each and every one of them is a scam. You can dig up anecdotal 'evidence' to support these unscrupulous fraudsters, but not one of them can prove themselves to have any paranormal abilities or powers when confronted with an independent and watertight test. And guess what, they make sure they damn-well avoid being tested.

Not only is she a fake, her accuracy rate is not very good.

She IS, however, good at reading people, milking the situations, and covering herself.

So far, NO ONE has stood up and demonstrated any real psychic powers, and it does not take psychic abilities to predict that no one ever will.
