You are doing great, keep up the good work. If you consume those extra calories today, don't sweat it! Just get back on track tomorrow.

Make sure that you give yourself credit for what you've done!

Can you imagine working for someone who constantly ignores any and all achievements that you've done? Or criticizes you every time you make a small error? How about if they call you stupid, lazy or fat? Well, when you do this to yourself, it's the same thing, isn't it?

So, stop beating yourself up if you make a mistake and start recognizing when you've done well. Remember the good things, focus on what you've done well.

If you fall off the wagon, just know that it happens to everyone and get right back on.

Everytime you recognize that you're about to do something bad for your diet, stop and ask yourself if that's what you really want. Give yourself a few minutes, but whatever you do, don't IGNORE that voice in your head! You know what I'm talking about. There's a part of you that wants to shove that self-righteous part of you down so that you can't hear it....that's the dangerous part. The part that starts to justify that extra donut, cake, or whatever.

Visualize whatever works for you. Some people like to visualize bad things happening when they eat rich food...like imagining all that fat as small little flat blobs that go straight to your stomach, or hips or whatever.

Other people like to visualize the looks on your friends and family's faces when they see you in that great outfit.

Whatever works for you! Good luck!

Sounds kinda daft, but I saved up and bought a really expensive dress in the size that I want to get down to. My theory to it is that I will have wasted all that money if I don't get to wear it.
I have put my fat pictures up on all the food cupboards and fridge - that helps. I hated being a size 18 and I vow I will never get that big again.
Another really big thing is I started to put all the money I would have spent on take away and junk food in a jar and when I reached mt next stage target weight - my next one is 12st, I got to take all that money - sometimes it got as high as about £150 - £200 per month - and spend it new clothes to fit me with the weight I lost.

ok..
measure inches not pounds... lean muscle weights more than flab!

just keep thinking "a moment on the lips a lifetime on the hips"

and remember u will feel sluggish if u have that junk - ur diet food gives u energy

and its not a diet -- its a lifestyle choice

Go there or search other weight loss forums. Or go to sparkpeople.com there are alot of useful tips there. You can track your calories and exercise. They have forums as well, and free online workout videos.

I like everyone else's advice here too. They brought up good inspiration.

Good Luck! Keep going!
