I have problem in playing DVD media files in my comp. Its showing "Error Downloading Codec" . Later its playing only the audio. Video is not getting played.
Can anyone help me????

use ffdshow for computer media files and get a software dvd player if ur trying to play dvds ...

Go to http://divx.com and download the free divx codec from there. You will not need the player ot the web addin, if you want to save hard drive space.
A codec (short for coder/decoder) is the information used to convert the file into pictures. If you do not have the lastest version, it can not play files made with that version, and you get the error listed, and sound with no picutre.

Try to download and install the VLC Player, it can play all kinds of codec or try to download and install All in 1 codec pack.
