Absence does make the heart grow fonder, and I finally discovered why! When people we love are away from us, we don't focus on those little things they do that drive us crazy! Instead, we focus on those wonderful qualities that caused us to love them in the first place. We all need to stay focused on the good qualities, forget the idiosyncrasies, and just be thankful for those whom we love heart and soul! Have a wonderful week! Annie

Being a retired G.I., and having quite a few unaccompanied
tours-- I can say that if not fonder, you get to appreciate and
miss your mate more with each day of separation.

Yes I do. There's nothing like that feeling of seeing your special guy/gal after they've been gone for a while. That excitement you feel and the connection between you both!
