IMO... As of today (4/30/07) being up 2 - 0 in the finals is the worst. Now..... If Dallas does indeed lose to the Warriors in the first round after winning 67 games..... Well... then it's a no-brainer to which is worse.....

I'll say losing in the 1st round -- Mavs. You work all year for the home advantage, to be that highly ranked, and then get spanked left and right.
At least in the finals, you've made it THERE...versus not even showing up for what's supposed to be the "cupcake" round for the high seeds.

Ha, they are both equally bad. Shows how bad of a team they really are and why Dirk does NOT deserve mvp. Not to mention, all the mavs do is complain and make excuses every time they lose. It is really annoying.

Being in the finals is an entirely different feeling. I think losing in the finals whatever the standings are. It's like seeing the finish line then tripping before you cross it. Second place is the first loser.

winning 67 games...and then losing in the first round....to run through the league like dallas did in the regular season...all those winning streaks and now you can't win FOUR games...terrible

I'd say they're both equally crappy. But the combination of the two is mind boggling.
