having it at when your have your first child is symbolic and that you present her a gift that he would cherish for the rest of the life and gift for giving her a child so thats 2 in 1

It makes sense to buy an eternity ring after the birth of your first child, because you will be in debt for an eternity, it seems.

From my understanding an eternity ring is given when a couple have been married for a long period of time like 25yrs thats way it call an eternity ring because you plan on being married for an eternity. Maybe you could look at getting her an engagement ring what better way of showing your eternal love then to ask her to spend the rset of her life as your wife.

Traditionally after the birth of a child. But you can buy it whenever you want, it's a symbol that your love will last for eternity. Personally I think waiting for a baby is a bit wet, it's like saying "thank you for reproducing and making me feel like a man."

Its an eternity band. Traditionally, it was for like 25 year anniversary. Then maybe 10.

Traditionally, it's for the 25th wedding anniversary, though lately some husbands have been getting them for their wives for the 10th anniversary. Remember, "eternity" doesn't mean a year - you two haven't been through enough yet!

I never heard of an eternity ring. Sounds like some made up crap invented by some jewelry store chain to get suckers like you to buy more cheap crappy jewelry.

my husband bought me my eternity ring before we were married or even engaged it bought it because it was my 21st birthday and knew we would we together for ever so you can buy it any time you want to

I think traditionally its on the one year anniversary. But I'm not sure any woman would argue with some beautiful jewellery whatever date it arrives on!
