I'm just curious how much most people spend in a month on eating out. If all you know is weekly that's fine I'll take that number. I can do the math. Please include what country you live in and type of $ used there (English pound, Indian rupee). I can't think of a better way to word that last sentence. Sorry!

I spend about $100-$150 US dollars a month. That includes meals @ work and sometimes my family of 4 when we go out, but the baby of course doesn't eat.

I only cook easy meals for my kids and when my fiancee comes home, he brings take -out from outback or chilli's, el chico, etc at least 4x a week...so we spend about $110 a week doing take-out and then we go to a nice-sit down restaurant when we have the time(usually 3x a month) and we spend $150 for that so in a month, we spend roughly $ 750.00 and that is in the U.S of A

Saskatchewan, Canada. About $70CDN - so that's two suppers of takeout for me, husband and teen son. I do all the cooking, and am happy to make as much as possible from scratch! When we were "more" poor, we weren't eating out at all, obviously, and have kept it now to a minimum because it's just so much healthier and cheaper.
I'm a SAHM mom and wife. Husband works, but doesn't eat lunch so there's no cost there. He also doesn't buy coffees out. Teen son has option of good cafeteria, but prefers the lunches I make for him (and so do his friends!). And I was hoping I could stop making bag lunches once he started high school!
