What is the best way to go about writing a manual for a class and selling the copyrights to someone?

I wrote a manual to teach a class on pre/post natal massage for couples in retreat format. What is the best way to sell this as a product. Do I copyright it first and sell the rights to it or sell it as is and let them copyright it and how do I show people the product without them reading and copying the manual.

For you own protection all you need to do is file it with the U.S. Copyright Office http://www.copyright.gov/

Next you can put it in a PDF file and create an encrypted key to protect it.Then you could create a website to download and sell it from. Another way would be to sell it on eBay.

I believe your product is great and you may want to look into having other people become affiliates to help you sell your product. I believe money is made by the numbers or printing and reprinting of a book, that if you sell it outright and lose the copywrite protection, you have lost a great deal of money in the long run. Is your goal to make money or just get the information out there?
