I think it will be Jimmy Clausen

You have to think its going to be the #1 HS QB in the nation...Weis has to be "fair" to the other QBs and have a competition...but it would be pretty lame to have the #1 HS QB in the nation and not start him...Don't you think?...Brady Quinn started 4 years...Jimmy Clausen has more HS accolades than Brady Quinn...so, I think when all is said and done, Clausen will rise up from the ashes that will be the rest of the QBs and be the starter...

Clausen will be the QB, as for the defense, pretty sure they took care of that this past year also. Not only did they get the best high school Qb but last time I checked they had a very good incoming class of defensive players.

I think ND is going to have problems regardless of who is their QB. Quinn was good not GREAT!!

ND is still 0-10 in their last 10 bowl games and more importantly 0-16 against teams that finished the year in the top 10. ND needs a lot more than a high school QB with accolades. Start with a defense and they lost their best on offense. They play an embarassingly easy schedule so they will be bowl eligible and overrated again this year.

Last year's BCS bowl bid was a joke. Wisconsin or Auburn should have been the pick. They need to beat someone GOOD before we should think anyone on that team can be a star at the NFL level
