honestly a lot. and depending on my mood and what is happening to me, i feel sadness, happiness for others so much. for example, my secretary just went to france this past week b/c her father was sick. she came back to work today, and we found out her father passed. i fell so bad and sad for her, i started tearing, thinking about all the kids left who are not married. i think all people get this kind of sympathy to those who have lost, i mean if you didn't people might wonder if you have a heart. on the other hand my sister in law is getting married in august, and i think i'm more excited for her than she is herself. i'm helping her with picking the reception place, flowers, etc i've already got my dress picked out and i've gotten her a very expensive bracelet ($600.00) as a wedding gift. especially when it's people close to you, you have more feelings for them b/c you know them. but for example, i do feel for people out of the country who are poor, people here who prejudice and such, but the actual emotions shown for outsiders is less than family and friends.

Too much; I was treated kind as a child- my sisters & mom were never really mean to me; hence I am not mean. It takes a lot to get me mad & I refuse to cut people out of my life. It causes problems sometimes- and when I do good mad- sorry for you... so I try to express myself instead of holding emotion in to prevent from being "mean". That's the biggest drawback. i try being nice & end up realling hurting people, because if someone takes me to that point I really snap.

I feel a lot for others. But if Im burned, Im burned and it is really hard for me to feel for those people. Itry to be nice to everyone but some people mistake my kindness for weakness and that ticks me OFF! I feel a great deal of repect and love for my fellow man...as long as he/she respects ME as well.

Way too much sometimes. With people that are close to me, I can definitely feel their pain. For strangers, I put myself in their shoes and can only imagine what they must be going through.
Helping people is my passion.

A lot, but I reserve it for those who are what I feel to be "good people" and not those that hurt others.

Quite a lot in the sense that I get upset if someone I care about is upset.

It depends on the situation...I have empathy for mothers whose children are hurt, ill, etc or to the old husband or wife that lost their lifelong spouse.
