Bush hung Tenat out to dry about four years ago. Did you watch the 60 Minutes interview? The Bush administration needed a fall guy for 911 and the WMD/Iraq fiasco. Rather than admitting to a mistake, the administration "threw Tenet from the train". Tenet has admitted mistakes. Specifically he admitted to not looking at Bush's 2002 State of the Union Address and warning him that there was faulty information. Bush has never admitted to making a mistake. Who do you think is lying?
Tenet claims that the CIA warned the administration that AlQuaeda was planning a huge attack on the American soil in which thousands of American live would possibly be lost. and the administration ignored the warning. The 911 Commission uncovered a presidential briefing which warned the president of an imminent attack. Is there any wonder why, at first, the president opposed a commission to look into 911?

This Administration hangs anyone out to dry that tries to expose them for what they are. They've done it repeatedly, and they will continue to do it. What they forget is that the American people are not stupid. It's that whole "walk and talk like a duck then it's a duck" thing. They clearly don't understand or don't care that the perception of corruption is just as damaging as evidence of corruption, especially when it's a recurring theme as it is with the Bush Administration. This is only going to get worse for them over the next year. By the time it's done the Republicans won't be able to get elected as dog catcher, much less President. Every week there's a new scandal because the house of cards is falling down.

He might have in no way gotten the pass forward to invade Iraq if there wasn't some provication. I saw the 60 minutes interview last night and altho he has broken with the Bush admin, by NO MEANS did he tell the full truth.

Does anyone believe that he really deligated the sign-off to the State of the Union speech, which he had twice previously nixed the Niger-Uranium fallacy? No way...they grabbed him by the ya-ya's or did whatever they had to do and he signed off on it. He also tried to squirm out of his "slam dunk" comment by saying it was taken out of context. He's a liar just like the rest of them.

Bush will continue to lie until some type of legal action is taken against him! Past presidents Nixon, Clinton have been hung out to dry for lies that did not lead to anyone's loss of life. Bush's lies have led to the death of half a million civilians and several thousand American soldiers. He has not been held accountable for anything. I can not believe that proceeding have not been filed to impeach him! I believe he is going to get away with everything because he his being allowed to!

And this surprises you why? Remember they did the same thing to the following people:-
Richard Clarke- who spoke about the fact that they did not listen to his al qaeda warnings and that they wanted him to say Saddam had something to do with 9/11 with absolutely no proof on the same day of the attack, when he was giving interviews.
Paul O'Neill- who spoke about the fact that they had wanted to invade Iraq long before 9/11 even occurred
Joe Wilson- who spoke out about the forged niger documents and the fake "yellow cake" scenario also bandied about in the run up to the iraq War
But you know something, I don't feel sorry for Tenet. He should have had the balls to stand up and say they were wrong and if the continued to resign in protest. He should have opened his mouth sooner, not later when he is trying to sell a book. The facts might very well be true and if he had done this when this was happening, people would have respected him more.

Not surprising. When Vince Foster broke with Clinton, he wound up dead. (It was a suicide, of course - clinical depression combined with the stress of being a White House Deputy Council facing criticism in the press.) What might be a slight difference of opinion elsewhere is cause for political hatchet jobs w/in the Beltway.

The guy's name is "Tenet", not "Tenant".

Tenet was the designated whipping boy; You think the administration's actually going to take blame for a major flustercuck in foreign policy?

Tenet already got caught in his first lie in the book, that didn't take long. Shouldn't be more than a couple of weeks before the whole thing is debunked.
