John Edwards is skipping on a Democratic debate because he is a spineless wimp, and is afraid of Fox News because of its conservative bias.

However, just as obvious as Fox News' conservative bias (or even more so) is MSNBC's liberal bias. So how come no Republican candidates are withdrawing from the debate?

Because they aren't cut-and-run, $400 haircut wearing, wimpy Liberals like John Edwards, who crawl under their bed at the sign of a "hard question", which are very common on Fox News?

Or was John Edwards just trying to get his name in the news, thinking that "any publicity is good publicity"?

What's going on here?

lord have mercy, i would have more respect for double dip ice cream cone as president. it would do a better job than edwards!

conservatives will not turn down the debate because they are not built like the libs, they arent afraid they might get a hard question. edwards is afraid he might sprain an eyebrow if he gets a question of substance, the air head...

Sorry, not buying the MSNBC liberal bias schtick. CNN does have a liberal lean, but not MSNBC. Chris Matthews, the debate moderator, is a Republican. I've watched his show for years, and he has both contingents on his show on a regular basis, and gives them equal talking time. One of his main contributors is Pat Buchanan - a stalwart conservative. Buchanan is a MSNBC contributor that appears on many of the political shows on that network. You are barking up the wrong tree on this one. At least when MSNBC airs a political show that has both points of view, they don't stack the deck like Faux News so in the end the conservative always ends up looking like the winner of the discussion. Of course now that I think about it this could be why you think they're biased lol.

Watch the debate. You are going to see something interesting. In the Democratic debate many people were struck by how the Dems stuck together and seem to have party cohesion for the first time in a long time. The Republicans are a house divided. Their debate is going to involve real mudslinging and they're going to end up looking like what they have become. A party that is divided over the war and divided over whether to be loyal to their President or not.

The candidates can choose where they want to debate. If they do not like where it is, who is conducting it or the format they are free to bow out. I would suggest that the Republicans pass unless MSNBC can assure them that there will be some conservative questioners as well as liberal ones and that equal time will be given for all questioners and answerers. I would have expected the same from Fox. If they don't get that they should not do it. Fairness goes both ways.

Black voters normally vote Democrat, having fallen for the Jackson/Sharpton hustle. It would be a waste of time. Those black voters who truly understand the Democrat politician are voting Republican already and don't need any further convincing.

John Edwards is mad because he can't wear his make-up and a dress. He doesn't know how to answer the haircut question either. A lawyer should know that stealing is illegal.

Republicans are used to being held accountable by ALL of America. (e.g. Foley). Democrats are used to being esteemed to notoriety even in the face of bad behavior (e.g. the Clintons, Ted Kennedy, et.al.) So why would they go on FOX when they can take the easy path? Republicans will go to the other debates b/c there is no easy path for them.

I believe several Democrat candidates dropped out of that debate.

If they are afraid of a newscaster, I don't think they have what it takes to lead the country.

Republicans actually have issues to debate. They aren't afraid to answer the tough questions like Obama was.
