And for those who cant be bothered to look then, basically, a bakery made these things called "pig tarts" which are little cakes with icing models of a pigs head ontop. They're really cute and they have been making them for years.

Suddenly, officials tell them they have to change the name of the tarts because its deceiving to customers as they dont actualy contain any of the animal in them (ie - no pork). They also used to have robin and frog tarts too.

Why?? Its ridiculous!! Are people really that stupid to think that the cake contains frogs or robins in them?!?!

And what about:
- shephards pie
- cowboy stew
- mississippi mud pie
- millionaires shortbread
- swiss roll
Are we not allowed to call them that anymore??

Its political correctness gone waaaay too far. What do u think?

Don't forget Girl Scout Cookies, I read the ingredients, no mention of Girl Scouts anywhere!

Seems to me the bakery could post a notice to the effect:

If you are from the government or have some other disability, our tarts DO NOT contain real animals.

Pigs will eat absolutely anything. If the poor man in question fell down dead before he gave the pigs their food, then it wouldn't surprise me at all if they ate him instead. Have any murder/mystery writers ever thought of disposing of a body in that way? Just curious.

tarts eh..oh no that's not allowed either....looks like it will have to be a blank blank...but then under trades description a blank blank label means no ingredients at all ..so you must call them fresh air ..thingumies of a etheral nature that one day may well evolve into a solid mass of a cake like object with a facsimile shape in an icing material(refer to clause 1000i subsection2 for full definition) in the shape of a non canine but farmyard occupant..of the non chicken variety.

or expressed in terms of algebra
pc=(pt-t-p)-(ft-t-f)-(rt-r-t)...
la la la la la i think l lost the plot

It's way outta control, personally I'm getting tired of catering to all those so-called "special interest" groups that just want everybody to think and do as them instead of letting the majority rule.....why should the wants of a few override the needs of the many....I'm friggin pissed...

Totally agree, it's all nonsense going too far, in Scotland they had to rename Iron Bru to Irn Bru as it contains no iron, it's a total load of B/S.
