Hi Chonny.
You have some good advice here, but the islands suggested are far enough apart to make travelling around too much bother.
Santorini and Crete are both beautiful but anything less than 2 weeks will not do them justice.
You would be better off going to either the Ionian islands (Corfu, Paxos, Ithaca, Kefalonia); the Northern Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos) or the Dodecanese (Rhodes, Symi, Tilos, Kalymnos, Leros, Lipsi, Patmos).
These groups are close enough together to make travelling around no more arduous than catching a bus, but each island in the group has something different to offer from all the rest.
I love all of the islands I have ever been to and I think you will too, so your top priority is to spend as much of your holiday on the islands, not sitting on a ferry.

kos is lovely, and the great thing is there are several other islands you can visit, all just a quick boat ride away. kos is part of the Dodecanese, with Rhodes being the largest Island. From Kos you can visit Rhodes, Kalymnos, Nissyros (volcanic Island). Simi, Patmos, and Turkey!!! Every Island has it's party resorts and it's more laid back resorts, I can recommend Tingaki in kos as it has just enough bars and restaurants to have a great holiday, but no noisy clubs. the best time to visit is May, June, September or October. I used to live on Paros, one of the Cyclades (along with Santorini, Naxos, Ios, Amorgos, and Mykonos among others). I'm biased, but it is my favorite island. Not a crazy partyland like Ios, but not deathly quiet either. The Cyclades are what many people picture when they think of the Greek islands, and it's easy to get around between them.

Well San Torini Is a must! if you can stay in a cave hotel - people use to dig homes under the earth to avoid earthquakes.
Also go to crete, it has a good night life with bars and fun stuff to do on the beach.

Skiathos is an interesting choice since it combines beautiful scenery and night life. Andros, a not very famous island of Cyclades (although it is the biggest), very beautiful and not very noisy.... Zakinthos is amazing ... And last but not least, Crete : it has everything ....
Enjoy!

I honeymooned on Santorini and loved it. I've also been to Zakynthos and Crete ... both great.
Mykonos is popular, but lots of gays, FYI. Not that there's anything wrong with that........
