9/11 Conspiricies?

For those I chatted with last week..steel can't melt? Had to be set up..no way the towers could have gone down and melted that way. Did you see the pics of the overpass in Oakland? Yeah, that would be melted concrete and steel. Let me guess, the government planned that too. Keep in mind, I'm not blind to the fact that the gov't pulls the wool over our eyes at times...it's just this particular conspiracy seems so invalid to me.
So, what do YOU think the next big setup is going to be? And what is the biggest faux pais or out in the open (proven) gov't cover up? Just curious.

BOO! No one is really answering my question! Stop arguing, it's not an opportunity to state your case really, rather an opportunity to be creative or show off your history knowledge.

Just as an aside, Loose Change has been thoroughly disproven. It is the product of the very vivid imagination of a bunch of morons who know nothing about engineering but are now accepted by some as experts. I cannot believe that some people still believe anything about it.

The biggest proven cover-up has to be Watergate and what a non-event that was! It just goes to show that the government is incapable of covering anything up.

I think the next big setup will be Rosie falling over due to her weight and some people will claim it was a government attempt to shut her up.

If steel can't melt than how do you think the government would have done it, steel can melt, how do you think the made the bridge, as to the government why would they do this at this time. We have to be careful who we listen to because there will always be people you think the government had something to do with it because they want to break us up. So I do think we should know what the government is doing but we should not suspect everything that happens.

Go grow some damn brains! Loose change is no more true than the "mister rodgers/jfk assassination" conspiracy. If the government had the means to pull off 9/11 with military speed and efficiency, why didn't they use the same military efficiency to pick off the morons who made the video...not within weeks or months of it's creation, but rather minutes.

Skyscrapers are surprisingly weak due to its height. It won't stand unless you conserve weight. This compromises structure's integrity. WTC used very light heat insulation materials that were blown away during initial plane impacts. This made metal supports very vulnerable to fire, heat. It weaken quickly and there is no mystery why WTC collapsed. PBS showed nice animation. WTC's designers agreed too on how it collapsed.

And it's almost routine to see these conspiracy theories pop up after big major diasters or plane crashes. Oklahoma, Pearl Harbor, JFK, Katrina(levy)...and many many more. Whenever something big and complex happens like 9/11 there are people who will never be satisfied with 'official' explanation. And they start hypothesizing. It roles into big snow ball very quickly.

The U.S. government deceived its citizens about the abuse and torture of "detainees" - and about 'secret' CIA prisons that no one knew about;
The Bush administration has misrepresented its real reasons for being in a 'war' with Iraq;
The Nixon administration LIED about its involvement in the Watergate scandal until two ambitious reporters took it upon themselves to dig out the truth;
The U.S. government exaggerated the claims that our battleships were attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin, which got us involved in the Vietnam War;
The U.S. government has LIED about how the victims and damages from Hurricane Katrina have been "solved" and how Homeland Security is a "crack" agency protecting our country from further 'terrorist attacks'.
WHY should we NOT believe that the U.S. government had something to do with the 9-11 attacks when there is provocative evidence that it did, indeed, know about and participate in the killing of 3,000 innocent Americans.
Benjamin Franklin once said: "When the people fear the government, it is tyranny. When government fears the people, it is liberty."
More citizens need to question the government's motives - and the "Fourth Estate" needs to return to being a vigilant protector of the truth. For anyone to simply "take the government's word for it" is pure folly that brings us dangerously close to replicating the days of Stalin or Hitler. Be afraid...be very afraid!
