we use a 'weed n feed' fertilizer (granular)... we apply it either right before it is going to rain, or even in the rain, so that it goes to work right away.

Fertilizer is made so many different ways. To be more accurate it would help if you had a soil sample to know precisely what your lawn needed. If you don't have access to a soil sample (most farmer's co-ops will send them off for you for like $8.00 or so) the easiest to use is called Rainbow. It is otherwise known as Triple 13 or 13-13-13. This has an even distribution of the elements and can be used on almost everything.

Your choice. If you have access to organic type fertilizers such as poultry manure, cottonseed meal, etc, they are the best as they energize the microorganisms in the soil. However we don't usually have access to these organic types. Instead we rely on the inorganics which are blended for optimum lawn care. I prefer the Scott's products and if you follow their regime your lawn problems should be minimized. You'll still have to aerate, perhaps dethatch, water and mow properly.

Go to their website and they'll customize a regime for your area and type lawn. www.scotts.com

Fertilome has a whole line of products and a lawn care treatment plan that you do over the course of the season to get your lawn ready for winter and then again for summer. You probably will have to go to a nursery or search online to find where Fertilome products are sold.

merely bypass to a house middle, they could have out the right type of fertilizer, considering that everybody will favor it. Now it really is time to apply one with a intense price of nitrogen, it really is the first volume. Like a 34-a million-3.

Wait until you hear this one.

I cup coco cola, the real stuff
1 cup beer
1 cup apple juice
l cup of lemon scented dish soap
1 cup ammonia
1 cupt of any all purpose plant food liquid

Mix the ingredients in a large bucket, then pour 1 quart in a 20 gallon hose-end spray. Apply to your yard to the point of runoff every three week during the growing season for fantastic growing results. It's just fun to see my garden grow from this stuff.

They are recommending left over tea bag plant around each acid loving plant as well.
