He's filling his pants with seven shades of S**t at the moment. We use up less resources per head of population. All of Scotlands money goes to Westminster at the moment, about 650 million pound a year, and a lot less returns. I'm sure that as a separate country, without Westminster bleeding us dry, we could easily manage on our own. Our country has been pillaged by England for too long now and we deserve a chance to go it on our own. WE didn't sell our resources to uncle SAM, WE didn't have a choice, It wasn't classed as our own. England say's it's been keeping us for long enough and maybe has a point. Keeping oil revenue, keeping gas revenue, keeping taking, taking, taking, and wot have we got in return, 0. I know where my X is going Thursday.

I am Scottish and I love my country and I have the SNP manifesto and the SNP are relying far too heavily on North Sea Oil and Gas which brings in about £3 billion which is only a drop in the ocean. An independent Scotland would mean higher taxes and an end to lots of things we take for granted like the NHS. £3 billion pounds won't last long when you have to pay for the NHS, Education, Law & Order and other services so I definately do not agree with an independent Scotland and I will be using my democratic right and vote on Thursday and will vote Labour.

He is saying this because, if Scotland does ever become independent, the Labour Party will lose a substantial number of guaranteed Westminster MPs and will find it extremely difficult to ever win another election in what remains of the UK. They could end up as a permanent opposition party. The finance issue is simply being used as a justification for this line. I guess they should have agreed to reform the electoral system with the LibDems when they had the chance.

You are absolutely correct. Scotland could flourish easily as an independent country within the EU just as Norway, Denmark & Ireland do. Blair knows that the SNP is going to give Labour a hiding in the elections on Thursday & is just trying to scare people in a desperate attempt to limit their majority so as not to cede control. Anyone in Scotland should seize this opportunity, at a time when many Labour voting sheep will either abstain or vote otherwise, to procure self-determination &, potentially, a nuclear weapon free state.
