Because the rain forest are located on the equator. These places do not have any seasonal effects such as spring or winter. The area is at a constant temp because its position to the sun is at its closest point all year. Ground temp is always the same, air is always the same, and very little to no wind to move any of the heat and humidity that will build up all day. These are pretty places, but no real fun to be in if you are not a native to these regions.

There is a rain forest along the west coast of British Columbia, Canada which get cold at night and all day during the winter. Tropical rain forests (the ones you see all the time in movies) are warmed up by being under the direct rays of the sun all or most of the year. Not by being any closer to the sun than the rest of the earth. The thick forest canopy, less wind than other regions of the earth, etc. help in holding in the warm moist air all night long.

let's be clear that we are talking here about the TROPICAL RAINFORESTS and not only the rainforest. being in the hottest climatic zone and the fact that these areas have a high evaporation and evapotranspiration rate, there is usually a thick cloud cover in these areas. this creates an albedo effect which means that much of the earth's heat which is emitted during night in the form of long waves gets trapped in the atmosphere, hence the warmth at night. i hope that this satisfies your querry but if you need any more explantion you are most welcome to contact me.(there are rainforest elsewhere e.g. in temperate zones where the nights could turn pretty cold)

rain forests are humid - humid environments need more sustained heat to warm up - its why the classical Arab gardens have plenty of fountains - the humidity creates the coolness
once warmed - they're chock full of heat energy so take longer to dissipate.
its the same as inner cities compared to countryside environments - cities are 3 - 4 degrees Celsius warmer on average
