I have never heard of that before. What you can do, however is drink lots of cranberry juice. There is a medicine for over the counter called AZO and it is speciafically for UTI's. Go grab some of it at the pharmacy. It'll make you pee a fun orange color, too :) If that medicine doens't work, then you'll more than likely have to go get an antibiotic.

I have never heard of this before. I used to frequently get urinary tract infections.

First of all, if you bathe in a tub, stop. Dirty water can create an infection.

If you are sexually active, urinate right after intercourse, and right before. This will decrease your chance of getting a UTI from sex.

If you are looking for things to take for it, one would be to drinkg a lot of cranberry juice, and a lot of water.

Second would be this remedy for Urinary Tract Infections. There are only two products for it. One is a combination formula specifically for the Urinary Tract. It helps to build and maintain a healty bladder. The second is for eliminating any infections.

I have used it and I haven't had a Urinary Tract, or Bladder infection in about 2 years.

Good Luck, hope it helps.

As a lot of people have already stated...cranberry juice can certainly help, even cure the uti and bladder infection. Drink a lot of water also. I don't know if it's true or not but someone once told me that too much cranberry juice can be counter productive since it's so acidic.

answer question 1 : In the early stages of UTI drinking plenty of water or cranberry juice can help at a certain point but you still would need to go to a doctor. It just depends on how severe your UTI is because you don't want to prolong the infection due to the bacteria can travel to your kidneys then it will be a new problem. answer question 2 : There is nothing you can do at home to help the UTI due to the extent you had it for a week but go to a doctor or see your local assistance clinics in your area.

Try cranberry juice - unsweetened, organic -

Cranberry keeps bacteria from clinging to the walls of the urinary tract and, like vitamin C, acidifies the urine (cranberry is rich in vitamin C).

True. Apple Cider Vinegar works with the body to keep it at a balanced PH level. A body that has ancidic PH will be more prone to infections, which is why so many people reccommend taking a couple tablespoons full of Vinegar.
