Fragrances are a matter of personal choice. I actually like Old Spice. It is a "classic" fragrance, and the price is right.
Some colognes give me a headache. If you complain about a cologne that some delivery person wears, just imagine being a person who has to smell a fragrance that he has applied to himself -- a fragrance that he does not like. I do not like a lot of the colognes I have been given as presents. You know, the expensive stuff they sell at department stores. I have a bottle of "Chemistry" by Clinique, "Aramis," "Wings," and "Drakkar Noir" which I hardly ever wear. I disliked the "Ralph Lauren" so much that I threw it away.
I don't care much for Brut, but I do like both Old Spice and, believe it or not, Mennen Skin Bracer.
To all of you young women out there, please find out whether your man actually likes a fragrance before you buy it for him.

It might be that you women type people are always so polite and say what a wonderful fragrance your wearing when you don't mean it, men are basically dumb when women pay compliments or any attention to us mere males. So, for goodness sake be honest and say our bums look huge in those pants and stuff. Oh by the way, I'm one of the spice girls, known as old spice.

As I said on the original q, I keep Old Spice and Brut for emergency liquor. They are way better than Coronas, and leave my breath spicy fresh.

I know..lol..There is this delivery guy who comes in my office everyday smelling of BRUT. It radiates throughout the entire office, and it's all over the packages he brings. I just don't get it either. Maybe they just don't know. But i sure won't be the one to break it to them..lol

Because smell is objective, some people like it some people don't. Why do women wear 10X the amount of perfume that's needed? That's objective too, just proving a point.

My opinion is that whether or not you like the smell, the person (man or woman) does not have to bathe in the stuff. A little will go a long way.

Well that is your opinion, and i should respect it. However I would like to inform you that Old Spice is considered to be one of the best light deodorants But don't criticise them that much... others may have different opinions.

I don't know!!!! There needs to be mass news spread worldwide - OLD SPICE IS SMELLY!!!!! BAD!!!!
Some people think they smell nice. Just like some women think that wearing an overpowering flowery bouquet-of-death perfume in a tiny elevator with you is fine.
Some people are just idiots. It gives the world variety.
