i was shocked when i read that chicago was on its way to sweeping miami and then even more shocked when it happend.
How did this happen? i thought the heat was a much better team than chicago. I know they got Ben Wallace now but still i didnt think they would be that good.
So was Shaq or Dawayne Wade hurt or what?
this has really been bothering me.

Wade was injured and frankly really rusty. It really hurt the Heat when he dislocated his shoulder near the end of the season. He actually rushed his rehabilitation and anyone could see that he wasn't his "normal" self. Wade was the primary reason why the Heat won the Championship last year he had a phenomenal playoffs. In addition, no center plays Shaq better than Ben Wallace. Which can be seen not only in this latest Heat-Bulls series but in the previous Pistons-Lakers finals where the Pistons won. Lastly the Bulls players stepped up, no one on the Heat team had an answer for Deng.

The Bulls won because they are a team. Their team model is very much like the Pistons in that they don't have one overwhelming player. The Heat have Shaq and Wade and some nights one or the other is enough to put them over the top but against a complete team effort on both offense and defense by Chicago they couldn't win. This series was over before it started. If you watched any Bulls games at all this year you'd know what I'm talking about and be worried about your pistons meeting them in the second round. Should be a great series.

I wasn't shocked at all. I knew the Heat were in trouble. You see the Bulls gave the Heat a run for their money in last year's playoffs. Also, as an avid Lakers fan, I know from watching over 20 years of basketball that repeating is harder than winning the 1st time around. While SHAQ knows what it takes no one else would know the mental pressure it takes to repeat as the Champion.

I thought that the Heat were in trouble once they drew the Bulls. The Bulls were younger and had more energy. Wade was not his normal self. Although he tried to play. He did okay but he just quite wasn't himself. I know you noticed it. I knew it could happen but it actually happening was totally cool. The Heat were not a much better team this year leading into the playoffs than they were last year. They didn't peak at the right time. I love the fact that the young Bulls won it in a sweep. Maybe this will make the Heat hungry for next year?

Ben Wallace has played extremely well defense on Shaq. he used to plya for the pistons - a really strong defensive team (possibly the best). Ben wallace was used to taking old chumps like Shaq. Dwayne Wade was hurt too. Those reasons along with the offensive power of hinrich, luol deng and ben gordon, the Heat had lost before the playoffs even started.

The fact of the matter is.....Miami wasn't very good last year and all you have to do is look at the team who they played in the finals last year...Dallas! Both teams who were in the finals are either out of the playoffs or on their way out. Wade had an excellent playoff season last year but during the majority of this year, he wasn't as good as he has been made to believe he is. I think all of the T-Mobile commercials with Charles Barkley have gone to his head. Shaq is just lazy, fat, and uninspired by basketball. I think its time to put this cow out to pasteur, and put basketball fans everywhere out of their misery. Watching Shaquille O'Neal is boring and tiresome. So back to your question, the Bulls were younger, more athletic and gave more effort than the Heat.

Chicago just flowed better together and their frontcourt just dominated the Heat's front court, outrebounding em by 15. Chicago also struck from the perimiter and played excellent defense (one of the best in the east). but really what happen was that the Heat were getting anhilated on the glass. if u were watching the games, there were just so many ofensive rebounds for the bulls.

Bulls 2nd best defensive team in the League...Best rebounding team....2nd best three point shooting team...they have three maybe four people that can hit you for 30 points on any given night...solid bench....believe or not t he Bulls may be one of the better teams in the league...and remember they were one win away from being the 2 seed...

Because the Bulls outplayed the Heat. It's time for some changes.

Go Bulls!
