Very , very easy . I've been telling the nay-sayers that for months . They ignore or deny . Not one rational answer on that one . It's clearly obvious that if the Bush Administration was lying, then they surely would've planted WMD's .
Kinda funny how the nay-sayers will accuse him of lying , but can't grasp the fact that if he's capable of lying then he's capable of planting evidence . And evidence that could never possibly be proven wrong .
EDIT*- Oh and I forgot something . . . . . THANK YOU for the most logical question of the day !!

They could have or, even more easily, simply announced that they had found it. It's not like they were going to let the public handle or examine it had they found any.
The fact is, notwithstanding the many policy flaws and errors, and notwithstanding the hysteria of the media, constantly giving way to sensationalism and conspiracy theorists, the United States really does not operate in that way.
But to answer your question, I have little doubt it would have been relatively easy for our government to plant WMD's in Iraq.

they would have had to age the metal, find the materials to put in there and bear in mind, not every chemical has the same composition. So they would have to make sure the were able to copy some that would have been made in 80's that cannot be traced back to a site outside of Iraq. It would have been tough.
In this information age, where everything can be tracked down, up to the metal composition of the tubing could have been traced and it probably would have come straight back to the US and boy would that raise outrage in the world, so they did not do it. It might be the ONLY smart thing these dingbats have done since they started this pre-emptive war.

It would have been very easy, but the belief that they were there was real; why plant them? The CIA was sure those WMDs were there because WE gave them to Sadam in an earlier decade of cooperation. More than likely, they were spirited to Syria and / or Iran.

Very easy. Clinton would have done that in similar circumstances. Bush has too much integrity to even contemplate such a thing.

Have any of you ever heard the word SCUD? How about SCUD busters? Do you remember who was firing the SCUD missiles? That's right, the Iraqis. So if they were firing a SCUD, which IS a weapon of mass destruction, would they not have to possess it to fire it?
Take it from someone who has been there, not the media, WMD's exist. People seem to forget about all of the footage of SCUDs being fired. What, do you think they shot up all of them and never made anymore? Be real!

I do not think it would have been all that easy. However, pointing out that they could have, does put a bee in the bonnet of the conspiracy theorists'. For that I thank you.

Absolutely. And when and if they are found our government will be accused of just that.
NOTHING that Bush does is right. That's the principle some are operating under.

Nope or it would've been tried I'm sure.If even 1 person knows about something like that it becomes a political tool which can be used at any given moment. How do most murderers get caught? They ask someone to cover for them or something. There are no loyalties when it comes to gain.
