I think Tenet, like Dean, senses a shift in the prevailing wind and doesn't want to have history see him as the scapegoat. He also wants to feather his retirement nest with income from the book and he has a short time to run up purchases before the inevietable rebuttals get lots of media coverage.

Could be, Tenet looks like he would prefer a life outside of the poorhouse. If he reveals all after being crucified by the media, the egg will be on many faces across the nation.

It is very possible. To save his own hide Tenet may just be the one to expose the full extent of the corruption and incompetence of the Bush Administration. I have a feeling we have only seen the tip of the iceberg.

No. I don't think the blame will fall solely on GWB. I'm extremely liberal (and extremely upset) it appears politicians from both sides new the evidence for war was sketchy at best but decided to with hold information. Clearly both parties are in the blame.

No, because nearly everything Tenet has reported has been found to be FALSE. Over and over again... He has his own best interests in mind, not the United States. He is simply covering his own rear end.

George Tenet's "memoirs" is nothing more than "I was right and everybody else is to blame." Forutnately, CIA agents are coming out of the woodwork to debunk his "memory."

God I hope so. I can't wait for the day everyone one who still has faith in Bush sees him for what he is.
