tanning with makeup on could cause you to get pimples if you are wearing foundation or powder. This is because you sweat while under the lights and when that sweat mixes with the oils already produced by your skin and bacteria it can mix together to cause blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples. If you are only wearing light makeup like mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner than it shouldn't matter since there are no sweat glands directly around your eyes and you should be wearing sun goggles to protect your eyes from the UV.

Not in public places. Too much tanning is bad for health and skin. There should be or may the there are parlors or clinics for tanning. All a customer needs to do is scan their finger and the computer can tell them how long they were in the tanning bed at their last visit, so they can gage how long they want to tan on their next visit. This is helpful because when you first start tanning, you have to start out in smaller increments and each time you tan you can tan longer. The computer also keeps track of how many visits they have left on their membership or package too?it makes things much more efficient and easy for the customer.

Tanning opens your pores & having make up on could give you acne... I always cover my face because Ive been tanning in beds for about 3 years and it brings out freckles, even if you think you dont have any! Plus your body will match your makeup so your face doesnt even need 2 be tanned <3 Melanie myspace.com/thatspoiledbella

its not bad to tan with it on , but check your makeup for the SPF . when i started tanning i noticed i wasnt getting a tan face until i looked, and my makeup was SPF 30. SO to help your tanning process take off your makeup. And you will tan faster

I'm not an expert so I'm not quite sure if it will damage your skin even more!!! But I would think it's better to tan without makeup

why would u want to??? if you`re going to tan, do it the right way!!! if u tan with makeup on, you`re not going to tan as well, plus u are probably going to risk breakouts because your pores will get clogged...if u go to a tanning bed, just remove your makeup prior to your session & then reapply afterwards at the vanity area or in the bathroom...

At least you are partially protecting your face. Tanning is bad requardless but super quick to damage the delicate skin on your face. If I were to tan I'd at least cover my face.

it's not bad but most makeup nowadays contains SPF (sun blocker) so that will lessen the tan on your face.
