Wow! Talk about a blast from the past! I haven't thought about this in years! When I was 8 years old, my grandmother gave my sister a recipe for a cake that was out of this world. Well, I helped get ingredients ready as she stirred them. When I found out she only needed half of the baking chocolate we bought, I decided to sneak into it and eat it like a candy bar. I turned away from my sister and shoved a huge portion into my mouth (trying not to get caught eating it). After only biting down 2-3 times, I started gagging and barely made it to the sink before I spit it out and almost hurled.

The funny part about it is that my big sister thought I gagged because I put too much in my mouth at once. She was laughing so hard at me so when she started to take a bite out of the baking chocolate that was left I did not warn her. I just kept my mouth shut and watched as she also gagged and hurled her guts out. Well, we both learned our lesson about baking chocolate, but she learned a much more valuable lesson---never----ever----never----ever laugh at your sister if you want her on your side. I could have warned her and would have...if only she didn't laugh at me!!!

I was around 11 helping my granny bake something. Boy, I took a big ole spoonful of it, like you would do Quik. It was awful. I remember my mouth turning inside out. Thanks for helping me remember the good ole days.
