My daughter took a bottle of apple cider vinegar off the counter (I had set it there because I'm making my brother in law some of his favorite pork chops) and she thought it was apple juice. I said "it's not apple juice, it's nasty stuff" but she saw the picture of the apple on the bottle and the coloring was right and I could see that she was about to take a big swig and I just let her do it.

Next time she'll believe me.

No. I think she learned her lesson. lol I would have only stopped her if it was a danger to her. Apple Cider Vinegar is a great for cleaning the body of toxins. You did her a favor. Great Question!

Some lessons in life bite you worse than others. She's a lucky girl that you will allow her to see for herself when she safely can. You are right about the next time. Watch out for her to use this as a trick on her siblings. I grew up at the end of that train.

Some people beleive that decipline isn't the key to teaching their child the do's and don'ts of things. I think that you did the right thing because next time she won't do that again.

You should have had your camera 'handy' to take a picture of her face!! No harm done, curiosity killed the cat!
