Financial independence. I don't mean wealthy, either. I just mean responsible for my own income and not dependent on working for a boss that doesn't appreciate what I have to offer or someone else taking my ideas and inspiration from me for their own financial gain. I constantly have ideas running through my head, I have acted on one and it has taken off better than I expected, but I have a wait and see approach on wether or not it's something I can stick with long term and challenge me. Meanwhile, I try not to close my mind to other possibilities that present themselves.

I've worked for corporations both big and small for the last 25 years. I plan on working another 20 years, but what I have discovered is that being free and independent is a great thing, even if it means making some sacrifices financially. I plan on developing and perfecting different skill sets that I know people will pay lots for. Then I can make a decent living doing what I want and be less and less dependant on the system for my well being. It's exciting. It also allows me to pick up those recreational things I've always wanted to do but never had the time.

well....in 10 years I'll be 30.

Id like to be a musician, touring with somewhat of a following.
My goals are broken down by five year increments,
right now I am learning guitar and taking up piano again. I'm also practicing singing at home. By the time the five years have passed, I'm hoping I become a master at guitar and piano, I really love Elton john, MCR and mariah Carey!

I want to mature more, and write. I'm looking for self confidence above all else. I don't believe life ends at 30. Its just beginning.

It sounds like you have been given as assignment asking that very question. I think you are hoping that some good ideas will show up and you will be able to copy them as your own ideas. That my friend is plagiarism and is the same as stealing. Not that it will stop you or make you change your mind but it paints a picture of the type of person you are molding yourself into.
