Easy question.

Yes.

I know I don't. When I started dating the man I am dating right now, he did not have much money to his name. He was working horrible shift hours at a place and I barely saw him at all. Now, he's making more in a week than I do in a month and I am happy with that but I am not taking advantage of it.

You cannot generalize and say that ALL women hunger for money in a man. There are more things in life other than money, there's friends, family, love and much much more. Money is just a side product.

It's not a yes or no answer. As long as a man is hard-working and holds down a job, dollar amount is not important to me. But I cannot respect a bad work ethic or a lazy man. Some women want to be kept women, which takes money. The bad thing about that is you're bought and sold in a way, so when things go sour you have no means of self-sufficiency.

I would say many but not all women hunger for money in a man. I happened to meet a number of young ladies who married old men who are in their 70s because they are rich, retired and have much savings. But if women are just after the money, then I would say that their value is wrong.

It probably depends on how a woman was brought up if she is brought up to be independent and have self worth and may be career oriented than "NO" if she is brought up that her only value is in finding herself a "good man" well it might be to her benefit to find one that has money?
My mother was brought up with this second perspective but failed at finding "a good man" so when she finally left an abusive man for fear of her life and for wanting to protect her three kids it was very hard for her because she was never taught independence or self worth for that matter. I was a legally emancipated minor very young and learned very early to be self reliant because all you really have in the world is yourself in the end.
edit: and one more thing everything that my husband and I have now we built together as team we are equal partners in a wonderful life together.

Now that women can provide for themselves, they're hungering for sex now more than money in a man.

I hope there are other things my fellow females look for in a man besides money -- few women are "gold diggers" most of the women I know have a good job so don't need to look for a man with money.

Not as a rule, no. But I will speak for myself. I sometimes like money in a man, but only if he was already a fine, generous person to begin with. Generosity is the key for me.

....Plus it doesn't hurt when his expensive tastes cause him to look flashy and handsome.
I'm only really thinking of Siegfried and Roy right now though.

As more and more women earn their own money, they will still care if a man has an equal or better job than they do, but only because they aren't much interested in being a "mom" to their boyfriend. The man's salary will only be a sign of his ambition and success, not something to be spent unrestrainedly.

Maybe some do but then there are also men who go after a woman for her money and prestige. My husband and I both worked and built up our money together each contributing equally.
