yes, you can eat ham salad. yes you can eat lunch meat. Ask your doc about this, and I'm sure he/she will tell you that all of this is nonsense. Try NOT to read too much while you are pregnant. You will read things that tell you that NOTHING is safe during pregnancy. Remember, pregnancy is NOT a disease or disability. Good Luck :-)

I never heard of not eating lunch meat when your pregnant. All lunch meat is cooked meat, it's not raw. I ate lunch meat, don't care for ham salad and i have 2 healthy kids. One 4 and the 1 1/2.

Just as long as the ham is cooked through and you are using mayo that was not made with raw eggs. You shouldn't eat raw eggs if pregnant.

It's better not to have ham either, uncooked, not only because of listeria but because of toxoplasma too. Actually, no meat must be eaten when it is not well done by pregnant women, because of the danger of toxoplasma, that can kill the baby.

You can eat almost anything when you're pregnant, but it would be to your advantage to not overdue it on the gassy foods...you'll pay for it later.
