There are several components of the Evaporative Emissions System that are located in various places. The majority of the system components, including the evap canister, check valves, breather, shut off valves and the other control system components are in the left (driver's side) rear of the car above and behind the left rear wheel. You are looking for a black plastic canister about the size of a shoe box.

there are underhood components as well. the purge control solenoid that controls when the canister is evacuated is located in the engine compartment. the pressure sensor that checks for leaks is in the engine compartment as well.

Hope that answers your question

I think that would answer his question... But the real question is why you are looking for the EVAP canister??? Do you have the check engine light on and that is what the code said?? If so you should tighten the gas cap and clear the code and see if it comes on again.
