definately not this year. i wasnt very pleased with the draft overall. i think the rb in the 2nd round might bring a trio running back set to gb, keeping him and morency fresh. the safey from virginia tech was a good pick. i think our wr's are good, they just need to be used better (hint: better coaching). our 4th wr is an ex qb, lets try some trick plays. DT harrell could have been picked in the 2nd round, so i wasnt necessarily pleased with that pick. he might do alright. i like thompson's philosophy on establishing a dominant D-Line. that will save our defense greatly.
not this year, but maybe in a couple years depending upon if aaron rodgers pans out alright. look at it from this perspective, you know that rodgers will not be another favre. thompson knows that. therefore, he is trying to build the defense for some leverage in developing rodgers. we will be great, just be patient. remember, thompson is a great drafter. although i dissapprove the harrell draft, thompson might have found something in him that no one else has. kinda like how ron wolf saw something in brett favre in his college days in southern mississippi.

As much as I love the Packers, I don't think they are going all the way in the next 3 years. Having Favre around to help develop new players is great, but he is going to retire soon, and nothing has been done to prepare Rodgers to take the team helm. Their draft didn't fill the holes they had coming into the draft, and I have no idea how they plan to fill them at this point.
Yes, they almost made the playoffs last year, but it was in a very weak field. I think to make it all the way they need to get some more depth in just about every position, and give Rodgers a chance on the field to determine if he really is the future of the Packers. Right now, with Favre, they are living in the past.

NOBODY!!! The Packers won't go anywhere until they overhaul that offense. Your O-Line is bad. Brett Favre is old. I don't know why Brett Favre Cheeseheads seem to think he still has it. Face it! Brett Favre's best days are behind him, and until he retires and that offensive line is overhauled, the FudgePackers ain't goin nowhere.

GB wasn't even willing to give up a 4th Rd pick for Moss. That told me a lot. That told me that management did not believe enough talent is on this roster to make a serious playoff push. I love Favre, I'd love to see him have a great final season... but I don't see it happening.

No body. they did not draft well they still dont have a real number 1 wide out, they dont have a number 1 RB either, they are still going to get beat on defense b/c of their shaky secondary, and Farve should just retire he is not the same player he once was.
