What do I need to do and what are exact names of the parts any help would be great

There is a resistor pack for the fan speed in the ductwork near the fan. sounds like three of the resistors have burnt out. this is very common among GM cars and trucks. It is very easy to replace once it is located. Ussually there are either one or two 5.5mm screws holding it in place. Once you get it out you will notice the resistors that are burnt.

A long time ago on GM's you would have a 3 speed fan and the 2 lower speeds would not work due to a fan relay. Might be the same situation. Blower relay was the name we used for this part a long time ago, not sure if it is still used though.

get shop manual...u need fan switch... u may have to take dash apart...it a dealer only part..talk to parts..they give out free info if u just chat with them...i go ask questions all the time...they see me coming and make believe they r hiding...
