At four, I wanted to have my own store and have a million babies. Maybe run an orphanage. Also really liked creative stuff.

At 41, I have my own business, which is very creative and uses alot of the skills I used to "play" as a child. Don't have "a million babies", but I do rescue abandoned animals and sort of have an orphanage of pets.

The people who aren't here answering questions who did grow up to do what they said they wanted to are the mechanics, heavy machinery operators, cooks, beauticians, nurses, missionaries and teachers who are probably working at their lifelong passion right now. The question should be, would you be happier if you actually did what you wanted to as a kid??????

I wanted to be a air hostess but my drama teacher put a dampener on that one he said it would be like walking up and down a Tesco aisle all day. I then decided I wanted to be a police officer I failed in the test by 2 points have been waiting nearly 3 years so have decided to give up on the police.
I now and have been since leaving school been working in different offices at the moment I am a Sales Administrator on the same money as what I would be if I was a police officer so will stay with the less dangerous option.

Thats true no-one can really say what they want to be when they grow up cause how are you suppose to know what going to happen in your life and what things your going to be into when you older. They ask you the question when your still into "legos" and you think your going to be a builder cause it's simple putting a couple of blocks together. They should ask you the question when your in seconday school or when you v'e had a chance to see other opportunites.

A CIA spy, but after a stint in the Marines I realized I don't want to work for my country. It was a good choice because I make a lot of money and work very few hours now.

I wanted to be an ice-cream lady - mainly so that I could eat the ice cream! I also wanted to be a chef and a journalist. I am none of those things I'm afraid.
