Its gone from really cold to really warm! What happened to the wonderful UK spring season? I was really looking forward to it and instead its like bleeding August. Don't get me wrong, I like summer, but in the months its supposed to be in! If I wanted year round sunshine, I would have moved to San Diego...

my theory is that it is not down to global warming but britain is on the move ,moving us back towards the eqater like billions of years ago

It came to Texas. Usually Texas goes from winter to summer with no nice weather at all. This year we had (still have) a real spring, with nice warm but not hot temperatures and plenty of rain without too many severe storms.
Oh, and I lived in San Diego before Texas, and that is REALLY nice weather. No summer or winter at all. It just goes from fall to spring and back to fall every year.

ummmmm.
it's called global warming.
when the smog arrives, we'll all be wondering why didn't those in charge consider the consequences of their actions!
& it's not like they didn't get enough warning, is it?
most people i meet seem to think it's a bonus to be hotter & drier than Spain, where as i do not.
our wildlife, plants & bugs etc are not used to this & so far the scientists are not sure of the long-term repercussions.
i too love summer, just wondering how bad or good it may get, depending on personal opinion, won't mean much when it starts killing people, animals & our wildlife.
