Eg, re the ‘Axis of Evil’, a bit of education for ignorant Americans:
Iran, being Shia, is fiercely opposed to Al Qaeda.
More importantly, being Persian, the POPULACE has historically been one of the most anti-Arab and PRO-AMERICAN of all the Middle Eastern Muslim nations. This has, however, all changed after they were dismissed as part of the ‘Axis of Evil’

Note that I referred to the POPULACE, if the current US administration was less incompetent they would have encouraged the overthrow of the Iranian leaders, rather than stoking nationalism.

Republicans are too stupid and too hateful to understand what is going on.

They will cause more terrorism and then blame everyone else for it.

Ya we should stoke our own Nationalism, why should the rest of the world stop listening to US talk about what is wrong with US. The media does not promote US interests as other propaganda countries. We should have increased hatred of terrorists but the media does not connect everything around the world. I get more about terrorism and attacks from the Local Paper rather than the National Press. They ignore opportunities to spur on hatred and unity against terrorists. They almost go out of the way not to report terrorism in other countries. I guess it may be more complicated.
You may need more variables. The more they are not given what they want the more they hate us. The more they have to compete with us the more they hate us. The more we allow different religions the more they may hate us.
Hate does often inspire terror but some times its just spit or flying our flag upside down or under another and even burning ours. We have to work on the hate here first for safety. I think hate just walks across the border at times and lives here and no one notices. Then we hate ourselves. I guess we must be ignoring the equation because to many others are asserting the equation: Increased fighting by the US =Increased terrorism and Increased created terrorists.

I'm betting the majority are, but how and when are the ones that can see the writing on the wall going to educate them?

I was once told that when a person criticizes, tells stories about and labels another, it's just their way of taking attention off of them and blinds others from seeing what the real scheme is.

These comments aren't limited to other countries, societies, citizens or organizations.
You forgot the statement "it's unpatriotic to be against the war"....I liken that type of comment to a swift, rigid poke to my chest, of which would compel me (increase my dislike) to drop the offender.

Your list could go on forever as the labeling and name calling seems to be the trend.
"libs'
"cons"
"neo cons"
"drive by liberal media"
"nappy headed ho's"
"unpatriotic"
"conspiracy theorist"
etc., etc.

By the way...the way I understand it,....Korea was none to happy to be included in the "Axis of Evil". Ever whack a hornets nest with a stick? If you want to piss them off, thats the best way to stir up the swarm.

* Tomtimberwolf makes a good point......Ignorance ( to the facts) is not stupidity. Stupidity is knowing the facts and not not being able to desern right from wrong.

Your oversimplified 'equation' is based on ignorance. The hatred in the first place occurs due to the incitements within radical Islam. It was there long before there was a USA. It incited internacine wars within Islam, Islamic wars against other Arabs, Islamic wars against countries in Africa, Asia and Europe. All this was in antiquity. Modern Islamic initiated wars have occurred in Asia, Africa, Europe and in the Pacific Island nations and some are still going on. Islam is a religion of hate, fuels and promulgates hate within and without and there is nothing we can do except fight its radical branches wherever they exist. If you are in some European country you should be aware that Islam is covertly even now infiltrating your land with the intent of overthrowing anything and everything you value as good by immigrating to your countries. You should awaken and smell the aroma before it's to late. The moderate Islamic people? Where are these rare creatures? Why do they not state that they abhor terrorism against innocents, why don't they fund moderate missionaries to radical Islam? Perhaps they are afraid of losing there heads? (So, should everyone be who is not prepared to accept all the tenants of fundamentalist Islam, including Allah as Lord and Sharia Law instead of freedom.) Or perhaps they are just awaiting the time when they too done the mask of fundamentalism and demand what Islam always has, "Death or Conversion".
Now, should the USA stay in Iraq? Is that your actual query? No, we should leave, now. We went in and honorably deposed an atrocious dictator and killed most of his immediate henchmen. This was good! Then we tried to help Iraqis establish a democracy, a form of government that is welcomed in the USA, France, UK, Japan (where the USA installed it, BTW) and many other countries. This attempt was good! However, it has failed due to outside instigation and internal turmoil in Iraq and our overly optimistic Prersident's policies for the area. So, most Americans now want our troops to come home. We don't want another life given in a futile attempt. Let the Iraqis decide what they will do but stand ready to massively retaliate with WMDs if other local governments try to take advantage of Iraq. Also, start now to demand that all other countries send troops and military supplies to a central depot under US command and be prepared to go back in with half a million troops and at least stop genocide, which no one wants but which may occur. What's wrong? Would you really rather be 'with' radical Islam or with a country that will allow you to live in your country in freedom? You had better make up your mind. The train is loading now on track one.

Well, then why is all the terrorism in the world right now happening everywhere EXCEPT in America?

Muslims extreamists have said time and time again they want us dead. They have said there is no compromise. They simply want Americans dead.

We did not start this war on 9/11. They flew 2 planes into the WTC, one into the Pentagon, and another crashed in PA... it was headed for a target in Washington, DC.

I guess you are too stupid to understand that.

Increased hatred of the US = increased terrorism.

So does that mean that a lot of terrorism in the future is going to come from Europe and Europeans?

Honestly folks, who would you refer to rule the world, Osama bin naughty or George Dubbya. The yanks have help out more countries than we know for the better, sure there may be ulterior motives and personal agenda's, and yes, the Jews may be behind some of the foreign policy of the administration, but from where I sit, I'll stand shoulder to shoulder with the yanks each and every time in the knowledge that my kids will have a decent future.

Actually terrorism has decreased..until 2001 it was almost common for forign interests to be attacked.
The U.S. has not had any attack on any interest since 2001..all the fighting has been concentrated in Iraq.
The U.K and Spain have increased their arrests of suspected terrorists after they were attacked...since then attacks have been nil.
Keeping your head in the sand and hope it goes away is ignorant and dangerous.

i think that when using the word 'stupid' you should be looking in the mirror for it is you who do not understand this problem or the threat radical islam poses to the world. i suggest you go back to the history books gathering dust in an old attic somewhere, and have someone read to you about islam and its history and current mission...it is exactly the same as the old mission, world domination...and maybe, just maybe, then you will begin to get it...i don't hold out much hope, but lets see what happens shall we? now go...hurry up!
