Without a court order -- you can't. Because without a court order, law enforcement/Friend of the Court, etc., can do nothing to help you.
You could get to ex to voluntarily share time, but it sounds like you've already tried that to no avail.
The only way is to get a court order. At that point, if he violates the court order, then you have the resources to do something about it.

Unfortunately the law is the law and as much as it hurts we all have to abide by the law. but don't let this be a down on you, remember that when the boy is 16 years old he has the right to see, live and go to whom he wants and the father can do nothing about it. So just give it time. As they say time heals

Petition the court for specific visitation rights. Then communicate/contact your ex to verify arrangements. If you need to, you may contact law enforcement to assist you in
seeing your child. It is their job to ENFORCE the law and visitation arrangements are a matter of law. Perhaps you should first get some good legal advice. There are lots of women's rights organizations. Start with good advice, then take action.

appeal. Go to the judge himself, and ask for a court appointed attorney. Don't wait for a court date, just go there now, and wait for him to have a moment. Tell his secretary your problem. if that doesn't help, go over his head, and ask them who can overrule him while you are there.
