Because he is like the one of the best players on the Irish

One of the best players on the Irish, doesn't mean jack anymore. His own agent told him to stay one more year, but Darius was too stubborn and stupid to listen. When you're own freaking agent is telling you that, you should realize you are in trouble and just stay and improve. He isn't that fast actually, and he has terrible hands as a receiver. Basically, he wasn't drafted because he sucks.

To the guy bagging on the weak Pac 10. Uh, one of the teams in that "weak Pac 10" OWNS the SEC when it plays it. The facts are. Auburn 0-2 versus USC including getting SHUT OUT at home. Arkansas 0-2 and being blown off the field by more than 40 points both times including 70-7. And on and on and on.

USC is pretty darn good, so is maybe 1 or 2 teams each year in the PAC-10. Take a look at the SEC. There is not much sense in arguing the better overall football conference.

Teams realize all the overblown media hype anyone out of South Bend gets. There was a reason Quinn dropped so far, and it was because teams were not interested. I don't care how much Mel Kipper and Chris Berman cried, it is true.

Honestly, he came out too early, he's smallish and had a not so good combine, the school he played at sucked against comp (the media is constantly making excuses for this school), inconsistent in hitting holes even though he was a bright spot against LSU. He still tended to fade away at times just like most of his former teammates. Agents need to stop confusing these kids, and forcing them to make bad decisions also.

He wasn't drafted which didn't surprise me. Not many people had very many good things to say about his ability. He did sign as a free agent with the Chicago Bears. Rhema McKnight also wasn't drafted but he signed with the New Orleans Saints.

There are some stupid teams out there. Darius can play, and he will make an NFL roster, for sure.

Probably because he is represented by Drew Rosenhaus and teams don't want to deal with him. I definitely think he will be signed as a college free agent, though.

It looks like people are wise to the Notre Dame hype machine.
